Why Mod's have to approve posts?

Post by FerrotFosser » Thu Mar 23, 2017 9:52 am

Ok maybe it's just that I'm one of those spoiled Americans... but why does a moderator have to approve my posts before they can be posted on the forums? It feels like censorship and i'm used to having freedom of speech. After all this is a game and we aren't safeguarding national interests here. In fact, i don't see the Forums taking off as a place to discuss game issues if every post needs to be approved by a monitor.

I'm just putting it out there for debate... oops... i forgot there is no debate because the posts have to be approved first. My bad.

It's to prevent spam.
Also, if we didn't like the post, we would just delete it anyway.

This isn't the news, it's a private server. :D

Also, after 5 approved posts, you can post without approval. You're almost there!
